Corporate Development Intern (PA to Founders)

We are opening an Intern position, reporting directly to the founders of the company.

Applicants should expect a fast-paced environment and look forward to the opportunity to interact with C-Suite professionals, from entrepreneurs and institutional investors to regulators and other finance-related parties.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conducting and presenting researches/studies on countries, sectors, companies and other investment topics
  • Constructing and maintaining the financial model for the company
  • Keeping track of the performance, strategies, and portfolios for companies
  • Preparing companies for fundraising
  • Facilitating institutional investors and co-investors throughout the fund-raising process
  • Experience actual deal making

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Banking or Business required
  • Able to speak fluent Mandarin
  • Possess excellent presentation skills, expert problem-solving skills and keen attention to details
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities – UX Business Analyst

  • Gather detailed technical and functional requirements, conduct research and analysis, coordinate solution design.
  • Design and Deliver high fidelity Wireframes & mock-ups optimized for intuitive user experience
  • Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap, including prioritization and build-out of new features / products.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrator functions such as user management, roles & permissions etc…
  • Participate in testing and documentation of new features.
  • Assist marketing team to launch integrated marketing campaign to external and internal users.

Requirements

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience as a Product Manager, UX Analyst, business analyst, functional lead, QA tester, developer or similar
  • Proven 1-2 years’ track record in designing and delivering wireframes, technical requirements management, functional testing
  • Experience in Adobe CS, Sketch, and/or other prototyping and wireframing tools
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, Heroku is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with financial services industry preferred
  • Able to work on multiple projects against aggressive deadlines and have organizational and time management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify, on-board and qualify suitable Issuers suitable for secondary placement on CapBridge
  • Coordinate with and assist selling shareholders and incoming investors with all online & offline deal execution, transactions, closing etc…
  • Commitment to client success for issuers and issuer shareholders
  • Position Secondary Placement and Private Listing options amongst other liquidity options such as M&A, IPO and private secondary sales
  • Execute go-to-market strategy for both Issuers and Investors via in-depth research and understanding of private placement landscape in Asia
  • Contribute to company-wide goals for on-boarding, engagements, listing and investments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business or related field.
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years professional experience in corporate finance, investment banking, PE/VC, private banking, issuer qualification or other related fields

We are opening a Patent Intern position, reporting directly to our founders and legal advisors.

Applicants should expect an intense environment and be prepared to juggle multiple legal research, document preparation, and due diligence responsibilities. The candidate will work closely with the founders and legal advisors in registering the company’s portfolio of Intellectual Property and evaluate the patentability of innovations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be required to assist with patent drafting, filing, and registration of IP documents – for IP portfolio management
  • Work closely with our legal advisors and different business teams
  • Perform global research and analysis and on a variety of patent and IP-related issues
  • Act as liaison on for interdepartmental initiatives
  • Interact and prepare documents for our legal counsel on a regular basis
  • Apply intellectual property law in an active capacity

Qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with compliance team to craft and administer and enforce MAS’s Technical Risk Management requirements throughout the business
  • In charge of the data protection for all aspects of the business and ensure that the company adheres to all PDPA requirements set out by regulatory bodies
  • Keep abreast with cyber health requirements set out by MAS and other regulatory bodies
  • Provide in-house technical support for all hardware and software such as Office365, Exchange, Adobe Suite, Synology Cloud, Anti-Virus, etc
  • Provide regular maintenance for all in-house hardware and software
  • Manage IT vendors and providers to provide services such as UPS, NAS, Office365 Backups, etc
  • Provide hardening and support for websites, including DNS and cPanel

Requirements

  • Deliver back-end code using Java Spring framework.
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Work closely with the UI developer in design, development, configuration, test and maintenance of web based solutions

  • Scale and optimize on-boarding process to identify, profile, qualify, and raise capital from institutional and HNWI investors within Asia Pacific, to invest in mid-market / emerging growth private placement and pre-IPO deal opportunities
  • Identify and qualify private company issuers suitable for fundraising with potential investors
  • Execute go-to-market issuer & investor strategy via in-depth understanding of private placement investment landscape
  • Expand existing profitable client relationships with key institutional investors, family offices and HNWI
  • Lead, motivate and train BD team to achieve on-boarding and investment targets
  • Partner with intermediaries to grow and develop both investor and issuer relationships
  • Assist in coordinating research and market reports to promote and raise participant awareness

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the financial services industry

  • Strong knowledge of Equity Capital Markets, including IPO and secondary placements
